Tomorrow Las Vegas is going to the dogs. How fun!
Show up with your dog at 9 am tomorrow in Cornerstone Park for the Rover Run. Both the two-legged and four-legged creatures will race over the 3.1 mile course. The first 350 registrants will receive a T-shirt and a dog tag. You can decide who gets what.
Alas, participation costs $35. But cheering on your favorite duo is FREE.
So is the Bark in the Park event. There will be crazy canine contests. You can stare at all those sad eyes begging you to take them home. And all kind of demonstrations.
All dogs must be on a leash. And each handler must be at least 10 years old. Of course, YOU are the pooper scooper.
Parking is FREE too at Cornerstone Park. If you don’t get there at 10 am, when the barking begins, just park across the street at R. C. Willey and take the FREE shuttle to the event.
What: Bark in the Park and Rover Run
