Some of my favorite gifts have been hand-made crafts. I also love to give hand-made craft gifts because no one knows how much you actually paid for them! (Always a bonus.)
Silverton Farmers & Makers Market Beth Ellyn Rosenthal eXp Realty
So this Sunday head out to the Silverton Lodge and Casino for the Artisan Craft Festival’s Farmers and Makers Market. Over 30 vendors participate, so there should be plenty of kewl stuff to pick from.
And it’s a farmers market too. I’m a foodie so the sight of a shiny, firm eggplant just…turns me on. Looking at all that gorgeous produce, oh my!

All the offerings are on The Green in front of the main entrance.
Admission is FREE and so is the parking in the Silverton’s covered garage. The fun starts at 9 and is over at 3.
If you miss this Sunday, it’s every Sunday all fall.
P.S. If you like fish, the still swimming kind, head inside to the 117,000-gallon Aquarium. Live mermaids (but alas, not Ariel) swim with the thousands of tropical fish.

This Sunday the mermaids swim from 10:30-1:10 and from 2-3:15 . A marine biologist feeds the fish, stingrays and sharks at 1:30. He wears a full-face communications mask so he can answer your questions. All of this is also FREE.
Speaking of Christmas, every December Santa swims in the Aquarium and you can share your wish list with him. Remember, there are only 81 days until Christmas.
