Tomorrow the Henderson Libraries are sponsoring a Pop-Up Story Walk. (Everybody these days has to jump on the pop-up kewlness.) A story walk is a hike on an easy trail. Library leaders will be telling stories! And everybody can sing songs!

Please note. This pop-up is not just for kids. It’s for everybody who likes being outside, near the mountains, hearing tall tales. You might encounter horses since horseback riding is allowed on this trail.
Burkholder Trail is the site of tomorrow’s Pop-Up Story Walk. The trail, which runs along the north border of Heritage Park, is 3.2 miles. But the Pop-Up is only going to walk one mile. The paved trail connects to the popular River Mountains Loop Trail if you feel like hiking after the stories.
The walk starts at 9 am. Meet at Burkholder Boulevard and Collins Drive.

The event is FREE because my property taxes have paid for a portion of it!

Show up at Domsky Glass Studio from 2-8. The studio is hosting a FREE Holiday Arts party. You get to make your own holiday ornaments. They will teach you how to create your own blown glass ornament or paint your own canvass.

The hot chocolate and admission is FREE. If you do make something under their expert supervision, that will set up back $30.
