A bulge here. A love handle there. It’s January. The month of culinary atonement!
Yes, I happily ate my way through Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s. Now it’s time to burn off all those delicious calories.

Tomorrow you can do that all day at the Healthy Henderson Fair. And it’s FREE! There are yoga classes, cycle classes, even a pilates reformer class. Zumba or belly dance those pounds off. There will even be a rock climbing wall if you want to be the next Alex Honnold.
If you don’t want to put on your gym clothes, you can talk to folks form the American Red Cross, Henderson Hospital or the city of Henderson’s Emergency Management Team. Juice Plus will be there too.
You can even sign up for the Lighten Up Henderson Weight-Loss Challenge.
All the fun starts at 10 am and ends at 2. At the Henderson Multigenerational Center.

If you can wait until Monday, all Les Mills classes at all 24 Hour Fitness clubs are FREE. I love Body Combat and Body Pump.
Les Mills is an uber trainer who trademarks his classes. I have been enjoying them for decades. I can’t guarantee you’ll become limitless, but I am sure you will have fun and sweat.
If you’d rather just work your eyes, the Second Sunday art show returns to Downtown Container Park. (It’s the second Sunday already! This year is flying by!) As always, lots of local artists showcase their creations. Admission is FREE but alas the art is not.
The live entertainment is still FREE.
The weather is beautiful this time of year–I’ll take 65 degrees every day–so come on out and enjoy!
The fun starts at noon and ends at 6.
