4-Letter Friday: FREE Fun in Las Vegas

Beth Ellyn Rosenthal, eXp Realty

Want to see 5,000 plastic yellow ducks float on the Town Square pond? Then head to tomorrow’s Positively Kids Lucky Duck Family Festival at Town Square, which is just five minutes from the Las Vegas Strip.

Quack! Quack!

5,000 Lucky Ducks float on the Town Square pond

Lots of fun things to do for both kids and big kids. For the Kinder there will be:

  • Games
  • Costumed characters
  • Duckling Alley

For adults there will be:

  • Classic cars on display
  • A Zumba-thon including two songs led by my favorite Zumba teacher, Evelyn Yamson Craven.
  • Hot Hula and Mixxedfit

Plus there will be free entertainment and not free nibble stations.

The event is FREE but it has a higher purpose. Attendees can adopt one of those plastic yellow ducks for $5 for a chance to win $500,000. (Them’s great odds.) All the proceeds benefit Positively Kids’ programs for medically fragile and special needs children here in Las Vegas.

The Lucky Duck Festival starts at 9 and goes until 5. It’s not that far from the Mandalay Bay, so you may hear all the music from the Las Vegas iHeart Radio music festival waft your way. Also for free!
