4-Letter Friday: FREE Fun in Las Vegas

Beth Ellyn Rosenthal, eXp Realty

Who doesn’t love classic cars? My favorite is the 1967 Ford Mustang because those were the cool cars when I got my driver’s license. (The uncool cars still had chokes….)

You can see all your favorite vintage vehicles at this week-end’s Super Run Classic Car Show in Henderson, thanks to the Las Vegas Cruisin’ Association. The FREE event will also show off hot rods, competition cars and customs. They’ll be parked at the Henderson Events Plaza on Water Street.

I liked the red ones the best!

You can drool over these cool classics from noon to 8 pm today through Sunday. But there is plenty do besides car envy. There will be:

  • A roaring engines competition at 1 pm
  • Slow drags competition from 4-6 pm
  • Extreme automotive flames exhibition at 6 pm
  • A kid’s corner for activities for those too young to drive

Where do you park your own car? FREE parking at Henderson City Hall and Henderson Justice Facility. (Thankfully I don’t know where that is since I’ve never been to jail.) Or use the shuttle service and park at Target at Water Street and Lake Mead Parkway.

Have a great week-end, Las Vegas!
