Believe it or not, shopping is the No.3 reason tourists come to Las Vegas, according to the Las Vegas Visitors and Convention Authority. (No. 1 is the swimming pools. Really. No. 2 is eating and entertainment. Gaming is No. 4.) But I digress.
There are all those fancy shops on the Strip. But me, I am a garage sale kind of girl. You can find some real jems at garage sales in the fancy neighborhoods.

One of the best garage sales of the year is tomorrow. The city of Henderson hosts a city-wide garage sale at Black Mountain Recreation Center. Admission is FREE. However, bring cash because I bet you will find something you have to take home.
Since I know I am inciting you to actually spend money while having fun in Vegas, here’s another tip. Starting Monday, Crispy Creme will give you FREE one of its signature glazed doughnuts if you buy a cup of the new coffee it’s introducing.
P.S. If you see a grandfather clock at a garage sale, text me ASAP! I want one!
