Easter can be an expensive day in Las Vegas, especially if you have kids. So 4-Letter Friday eases the pocketbook this week. (Pocketbook–such a 1960’s word. That’s what my grandmother called her purse. But I digress.)
Here are four FREE Easter activities around Las Vegas:
- Ethel M Chocolates. The Mars Company factory is hosting a Sweets of Spring event in its Cactus Garden. The event includes photos with the Easter Bunny, face painters, balloon artists, live music and of course, free factory viewing. Admission is FREE, but be sure to leave your wallet in the car… because I never had been able to leave the factory without buying something scrumptious. Tomorrow and Sunday starting at noon.
- First Henderson United Methodist Church. Its annual Easter egg hunt is tomorrow at 11 am in the church courtyard. It’s designed for toddlers to 11-year-olds but I’m sure they’ll let you participate if you want to.
- Town Square Las Vegas. An Easter egg hunt takes place every 10 minutes from 10 am. to 4:40 pm tomorrow. All you have to do is register at the valet area. The shopping center event includes photos with the Easter Bunny, face painting, rock climbing, bounce houses and inflatable slides. The shopping center is limiting the fun to kids no older than nine. While you’re there, come up and say hi. The eXp Realty office is right about the Apple store, suite D 210.
- RETechCampus.com. This offering is virtual. Go to the this page: http://retechcampus.com/virtual-easter-egg-contest/. You search the site to win a Jackery, an external battery for tablets and smart phones. The contest ends Sunday at midnight.
Good Friday. Have a joyous Easter and a delicious Passover Las Vegas.
