4-Letter Friday: FREE Fun in Las Vegas

Today is Cinco de Mayo. So I guess you’re thinking I’m going to talk about great Mexican festivities, which celebrate the Mexican army’s victory over the French in 1862.

No, I’m going to talk about Christmas! I am going to tell you about two great craft shows where you can buy one-of-a-kind gifts. I like to give these treasures because no one can figure out how much you spent! Works great. Trust me on this.

Henderson: The Women Empowering Women  Arts and Crafts Expo will be held at the Sun City Macdonald Ranch club house. In addition to cool things from local artists, there will be a cash bar and lunch at the restaurant. Admission is FREE and so are all the raffle tickets. From 11-3.  Tomorrow.

Summerlin: The Suncoast Hotel and Casino is having an Artisan Crafts Festival in its Grand Ballroom. This one goes from 10-5. Not only is the admission FREE but there will be a FREE Kids Corner. This show features home decor and jewelry in addition to arts and crafts from 80 vendors. The first 250 people through the door will receive a FREE swag bag with coupons from the vendors. Sunday.

Wonder how the Raiders’ move will affect Las Vegas Real Estate? My take:

OK, so it’s Cinco de Mayo. Texas Station is having a festival with roaming Mariachis, a taco cart featuring street tacos, and Volume 1, a live band, with no cover in South Padre Lounge.
