Who likes to eat and drink? And doesn’t the food taste better if it’s FREE?
Today is FREE and (almost FREE) food and drink Vegas. Here’s where:
Starbucks is having a FREE iced tea tasting today from 1-2 pm at all its Vegas and Henderson stores. The coffee and tea emporium is introducing its new infused ice teas. The peach one is made with white tea. I knew about black and green tea. White tea? Who knew?
In the almost FREE category, all Vegas and Henderson Crispy Kreme Doughnuts stores are selling their beloved glazed doughnut for all of 80 cents. You know, the doughnut that wins every blind tasting test even though the sugar content would send me into near diabetic shock. Yep, all that goodness for just 80 cents.
Finally, tomorrow is the 26th anniversary of the Las Vegas Natural History Museum. The museum, which is associated with the august Smithsonian Institution, is offering FREE ice cream to all museum-goers.
The ice cream is free, but you do have to pay $10 for adults and $5 for children under 11 to get in. But that also pays for entrance to the Critter Connection, where all y’all can interact with snakes and lizards. So you won’t be scared when you find one in your pool or home or have to be in a movie with them like Harrison Ford.
The big new exhibit is Rainforest Adventure! You can swing like a Spider money and meet a beetle that can carry over 850 times its own weight.
