To most men I talk to in Las Vegas, breasts are a big thing. Tonight those men are going to have the opportunity to ante up to help Las Vegas women keep ’em.
Tonight band leader Kenny Davidsen and John Katsilometes are hosting a fund raiser entitled “Real Men Wear Pink.” The fund raiser will be part of Davidsen’s weekly Friday night soiree at the Tuscany’s Piazza Lounge. It’s entitled the Celebrity Piano Bar/Bow Tie Caberet because bow ties are Davidsen’s signature look.
Every Friday night he invites local singers to join him, singing songs that fit a theme he has picked. Tonight’s theme is drinkin’ songs.
The performers will be passing a tip bowl to raise money for breast cancer awareness. All the funds will end up at the American Cancer Society.
Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women, according to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. On average a woman in American receives a breast cancer diagnosis every two minutes. Men get breast cancer two. 460 men died of breast cancer last year!
