Tonight is Las Vegas’s 19th annual Pride Night Parade. If you have never been to one of these, OMG, are they fun!!!! The costumes are the best part.

Forget about Halloween. This is the parade to watch. The best way to describe it is Broadway’s Kinky Boots, Vegas style.

I started attending Pride Night Parades when my nephew came out 18 years ago. The family went to Pride events to pledge our support and love. Today he lives in Denver but my love of Las Vegas Pride Night Parades lives on!

The pre-show starts at 6:30 at the main stage at 4th Street in downtown Las Vegas. The parade itself begins at 7:30 on West Charleston, then proceeds down Fourth Street to Ogden Avenue.

Of course all the frivolity is FREE.

If you are in a giving mood, tomorrow night Downtown Container Park is staging a benefit called All In.

The DCP brings the best of Las Vegas entertainers to its stage for a FREE show. They include:

• Jeff Civilico (4:30 pm)
• Absinthe (5 pm)
• Daniel Park (7 pm)
• Haleamano (8pm)
• Zowie Bowie (9 pm)
• Silversage (10pm)

The event will honor the first responders who are always there for us.

All the proceeds from the raffle items flow to the Las Vegas Direct Impact Fund. Cool items include Sky Ace Combat, a STK Chef’s Tasting and Axehold Vegas, which allows you to throw axes and spears.

The FREE fun starts a 10 am and continues until 1 am Sunday morning.
