Surprise. Surprise. It’s Halloween. (The decorations have been in the stores since August. Hey, my neighbor already put up his Christmas tree.) But I digress.
Vegas is know for its parties. The FREE Halloween parties start tonight.
If you are downtown, head over to the Gold Spike. Each night there is a special themed event. Two notable: tomorrow’s sexiest female costume contest (This is VEGAS, kids!!!!!) and Tuesday’s Fright Spike III: The Official Halloween Monster Bash. There will be a live band and $7,500 in cash and prizes. (There will be another sexiest female costume in cash you are busy tomorrow night.)
The Gold Spike is a cool, hip hangout. And it has shockingly good food.
While you are downtown, walk just 2 blocks to the Fremont Street Experience. It’s having its own FREE six-day Halloween fright fest. In addition to the always FREE live music, there will be a production show, a magic show and a costume contest. Roaming performers will haunt you. And that’s not including all the wild and wacky performers on their performance circles who are there every day.
So what are you going to be for Halloween. I’m going to be a ghost writer. Ha! Ha!
