Did you love the movie Duets with Huey Lewis, Gwyneth Paltrow and PaulGiamatti? That’s when I became obsessed with Karaoke.

I can’t sing, so I never participate. But it’s oh, so much fun to watch and listen.  Las Vegas is THE perfect place to watch and listen because we have both talented locals and amazing visitors.

My favorite Karaoke event in Las Vegas happens every Friday night inside Crossroads at House of Blues Las Vegas.  It’s called Rockstar karaoke. Why? Because the House of Blues provides a live band to sing in front of, not some machine with tracks. Yep, there’s driving rhythm and hot guitar licks to spice up those vocals.

There are 200 mega-hits to chose from.

Of course, admission is FREE. But you do have to RSVP by either calling 702.632.7607 or reserving online at www.houseofblues.com/lasvegas/crossroads.

The fun starts at 9. See you there, Las Vegas.
