Want to see Zarkana FREE? Well, you can today at 3 at the Aria Resort & Casino. (Kind of.)

Zarkana is one of the eight Cirque du Soleil resident shows in Las Vegas. Today cast member will perform for free in the Aria lobby. It’s not the entire show, of course, but you will have the chance to get up close and personal in a way that is impossible in the theater, even in the front row.

Zarkana Version 1 got a B-. Acts like the Wheel of Death (featured above) were death defying. But the lady making pictures out of sand was (yawn) boring. So the powers that be reworked the show. The free performance today is to drum up business for V2.

The current show has 70 acrobats, aerialists, jugglers, and high wire and trapeze artists.

If you have a Nevada driver’s license, you can buy two tickets for $99 through December 30. Discounts: one of the benefits of being a Las Vegas local (or knowing one!) Standard pricing goes from $69-$180 per person.
