4-Letter Friday: FREE Fun in Las Vegas

Las Vegas, do you love those 1960s muscle cars? Or do your prefer 1930s classics? Want to see exotic European cars a la James Bond?

Las Vegans can see ’em all for FREE this week-end if you cruise on down to Water Street in Henderson. It’s the 15th annual Henderson Super Run Classic Car Show.

Exhibitors will be showing 1,000 classic cars and trucks, some from as far away as Texas and Hawaii. Hey, everyone loves an excuse to come to Vegas!

A 1962 Mustang: My dream car!

But if you are not really into cars, there is still plenty to do:

  • Sha Na Na (remember them?) performs tonight at 8.
  • Chasin’ Crazya local country band, starts the boot scootin’ tomorrow night  same time. Both will be on the Main Stage at the Henderson Events  Plaza.
  • A Beatles celebration kicks off tomorrow at 1.
  • A silent auction for hubcaps hand-painted by local artists will generate funds for the City Lights Youth Scholarship Fund.

And, since this is Vegas, there will be food, food and more food.

The Henderson car show runs from 10 to 10 today and Saturday and 10 to 3 on Sunday.

Entertainment on the Las Vegas Strip can be spendy. But we locals can do lots of fun things for FREE.

Live life like a local!
