Last night I did goat yoga (not FREE) but I am still in an animal state of mind. So today’s FREE offering is about a special tortoise.

Meet Tito, the resident tortoise at the Henderson Bird Watching Preserve. Today is World Turtle Day, so the Henderson turtle wranglers will have Tito out for a meet-and-greet.
They tell me he loves meeting people and is super curious about everything around him. He will be ready to hold court starting at 10 am.
He’s probably not as cute as last night’s goats, but I’m sure he’s charming in his own right.
Besides, it’s EDC week-end and parts of the 15 are closing, so you don’t want to go anywhere near that part of town. Head south to Henderson and enjoy the creatures at the Preserve. Yes, the creatures at EDC will be more entertaining and colorful, but this nature show is FREE!
Oh, parking is FREE too.
