Tonight the FREE fun is in Henderson. At Sunset Station Hotel Casino, to be exact. Inside Club Madrid.
The Lon Bronson All-Star Band starts up at 10 pm. This is a horn band–Lon is a trumpet player–but it’s also known for it’s “Guitar Army” which includes Jimmy McIntosh, whose day gig is Jersey Boys, and Jim Buck, who plays in Terry Fator‘s orchestra. Tonight Steve Lee from Donnie and Marie joins them.
The band recently played a concert at the Smith Center featuring tunes from Chicago, a natural fit since they are a horn band. They will be showcasing many of those songs.
Lannie Counts and Eric Sean take the stage on vocals tonight.
The fun part of a Lon Bronson concert is you never know who is going to show up to join in. It’s always the best musicians in Vegas.
Lon, the band’s opinionated, iconic leader, put his first Las Vegas group together in 1990. That makes the Lon Bronson Band the longest-running band still playing in Vegas.

I did say the two-hour show is FREE, right?
