Thank goodness it’s another Four-Letter Friday. Because FREE is my favorite four-letter word, here’s what’s shaking in Las Vegas this week-end for zero dineros.
How about some free magic? Tony Daniels conjures up both comedy and magic with his special sleight-of-hand. The show is free tomorrow morning at the main branch of the Clark County Library on Flamingo. The best part of the performance is the audience participation. All y’all are as funny as his jokes! The magic starts at 11:30 am. The show is part of the library’s “Reading is Magic.”
If more adult comedy is your style and you can stay up past 10 pm, there’s a better offering for you tomorrow. See the Rise to Offend show at the Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay. The show features top comedians from Los Angeles whose names you might recognize because they’ve been on Showtime and HBO. The two-hour show starts at 10 pm. Warning: the title is appropriate. The show is designed to offend.
If you’ve never been to the Foundation Room, OMG. It’s on the 64th floor. The club is all windows. You feel like you can reach out and touch the resorts on the Strip. THE best view in town.
The Foundation Room is hard to find, however. The elevators are located across from the front desk. Just tell the burly guy in a suit you are attending the Rise to Offend event. Once you reach the top, the dining area and show are to your right.
