Do you love the blues? For $499 you can enjoy 16 hours of live music a day (for four days) at the Big Blues Bender. And our local The Killers rock T-Mobile Arena.
For those of us who are looking for FREE entertainment, you have come to the right place. Las Vegas, hands down, has some of THE BEST expensive and FREE things to do this side of the moon.
That’s why I moved here!
Buckle up ’cause here we go.
Munch and Learn at a Barbecue(all over the valley)

Hot dogs and hammers! Ace Hardware
All y’all know I am a serial remodeler. I love the smell of cement dust in the morning. (Just kidding.) So I spend more time at Ace Hardware than I do at my jewelers. (Although I do love pearls. But I digress.)
Tomorrow (Saturday) Ace is hosting a Labor Day BBQ Party at all its stores. I got invited since I am a Rewards member. But I’m inviting you to join me. (I patronize the Ace on Trop and Rainbow being a Southwest girl.)
You can’t beat FREE food. But the real reason I’m going is the demos, deals and giveaways. I didn’t get that Y gene which is why I no idea how to fix things. I’m gonna learn!
Everyone who guys a bottle of Weber Grate Grill Cleaner gets a free 18 inch grill brush. Plus FREE hot dogs!!!!
From 11 to 2.
Sing Happy Birthday at Corduroy (Downtown)

Who wants a Moscow Mule made with homemade ginger beer? That’s a signature drink of Corduroy, a neighborhood bar in the Fremont East Entertainment District that reminds me of my favorite clubs of the 1970s … without the disco music.
Tonight the club celebrates its fifth birthday. The festivities start at 9. You can compete for prizes all night long.
Oh, and those mules are just $5! Quite the bargain.
Do You Like Ozzy Osbourne? (Downtown)

Downtown Container Park joins its neighbor, the Fremont Street Experience, in creating a music series. Theirs is called “Downtown Container Park After Dark” and it debuts tomorrow. (No show this week-end in the Downtown Rocks at Fremont Street Experience.)
Mr. Crowley, of course, is one of my favorite songs.
Cobra Zebra opens the show at 7:30. Ozzy Experience starts at 9:30.
The show is FREE. But if you have an extra $20, DCP is serving up all you can drink beer.
Mellow out with Jassen Allen (South)

I first heard Jassen Allen at the first Mondays Dark shows, where local performers perform free, we pay $20 and at the end of the night host Mark Shunock presents a local charity with a $10,000 check.
He is powerful crooner. He can do love songs as smooth as velvet yet rock out with the best of them. His show is a mix of favorites you probably already know the words to.
Tonight Allen performs FREE at Mermaid Lounge Live at the Silverton. Even better, the parking is FREE too.
From 8-11.
P.S. Don’t forget to get your photo taken with a real mermaid!
Have a great week-end, Las Vegas!
