Downtown Las Vegas is where it’s at this week-end, if you need some FREE fun after back-to-school shopping.
Can you believe it? Buckcherry is performing tomorrow night at the Fremont Street Experience! The rockin’ performance is part of the Downtown Rocks FREE Concert series.
So what is a Buckcherry? It’s a spoonerism. So what’s a spoonerism? It’s a slip of the tongue when words get tangled. This spoonerism is a play on the name of the late, great Chuck Berry. Get it?
You know their music. “Lit up” was their biggest hit. (No, it’s not a song from Suits.) So is Everything and Next 2 You.
Music starts pumpin’ at 9 after the sun sets and it gets cooler (like only 100.) Buckcherry plays for 90 minutes, unless they want to play longer.
As always, the al fresco concerts are FREE. No Viva Vision light show since the Fremont folks are still upgrading all those millions of light bulbs.

Sunday afternoon your friendly Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is hosting its monthly Public Safety Forum. Sunday’s topic: self-defense tips for public places. They will teach us about situational awareness. How to minimize risk. What to do if you become vulnerable.
The session is FREE but you do have to reserve a spot. That means you get into the Mob Museum FREE too! Thank you, NV Energy, for underwriting the admission.
