Las Vegas is one of the entertainment capitals of the world. But since the world is shut down, we have to entertain ourselves. So it’s my job, loyal readers, to find fun things to do while we all are on (necessary) house arrest.

Mondays Dark

This Monday was supposed to be another Mondays Dark night. Oooh, are they fun. Founder Mark Shunock picks a theme, then invites Las Vegas performers to do their thing based on the theme.

They perform for free…because it’s always a good cause.

Mondays Dark charges a fee to attend and hosts a silent auction. During the performance Shunock presents a $10,000 check to a selected charity. The charity typically shows a video of what they do. I am usually fighting back tears. But I digress.

Well, no one’s heading to The Space for the regularly scheduled performance. Instead, Shunock is hosting a virtual Mondays Dark. The charity this time is The Actors Fund.

The show is called the Mondays Dark Live Stream Telephon. It starts at 5 pm (although Shunock is usually late) and ends at 11. The next half hour is an adult revue.

Kenny Davidsen, as always, will lead the live band.
