Once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away, Las Vegas was one of the entertainment capitals on the planet. But now, two months into our pandemic, we locals have to search for kewl things to do online.

Here is a winner!

I’ve always wanted to attend the Electronic Daisy Carnival (EDC). The world’s most famous DJs on concurrent stages. Fireworks. Dancing. Crazy people. Sounds sooo fun.

However, the party starts at 10 pm and shuts down around 6 am. I am in bed almost every night at that time.

The EDC was supposed to be this week-end. Since the only gatherings permitted are 10 people or less, Insomniac, the producer, moved the actual festival to October.

But it had to celebrate something this week-end.

EDC Las Vegas Virtual Rave-A-Thon

The three days of partying are now from 5 pm to 2 am, much more amenable to my geriatric lifestyle.

DJs who will be doing sets include:

EDC tickets are very pricey. But the virtual show is FREE. (My favorite four-letter word.)
