What a great week-end to be in Las Vegas. NASCAR. The Raiders. The Vegas Golden Knights.
All of the above are super spendy. So are the magnificent shows on the Las Vegas Strip.
But it is my job, dear readers, to find FREE fun in Las Vegas. Here are some options.
Generation Radio Rocks the Fremont Street Experience (Downtown)

I grew up in Chicago. In 1964 a new band played at the Devonshire Community Center. I became an instant fan. That group was Chicago.
I moved to Dallas in 1978. There I fell in love with country music. One of my favorite country bands: Rascal Flatts.
And I have seen every Journey cover group that showed up in Las Vegas. My favorite: DBS (an acronym for “Don’t Stop Believing.”
Why am I telling you this? Because Jay Demarcus of Rascal Flatts, Deen Castronovo of Journey and Jason Scheff of Chicago started their own band called Generation Radio. And that band is playing FREE tomorrow night at the Fremont Street Experience.
Musicians Chris Rodriguez and Tom Yankton join them.
I can imagine the great music these three rock superstars can produce. I be there!
The show is on the Third Street stage. Concert is outside. Starts at 9.
Avengers: Endgame Under the Stars (North Las Vegas)

Tonight is the night to see this popular movie FREE under the stars.
The city of North Las Vegas teamed up with Nevada Health Link to bring us this movie where Tony Stark sends a message to Pepper Potts that his oxygen supply is getting low.
You can enjoy the movie, part of the city’s Movie Madness series, at Nature Discovery Park.
You can bring coolers, picnic baskets and blankets. But no alcohol, high-backed chairs or tables.
The movie will start after dark or around 7.
The Best Dog Show in Las Vegas (Thomas & Mack)

All y’all know I am a dog lover. And both my current dogs are rescues.
So I love the Animal Foundation‘s Best of Show show. It’s like the Westminster Dog Show only the dogs come from the shelter. And you can adopt them right there during the show. (Assuming you didn’t adopt enough dogs during the pandemic…)
The show is this Sunday at Thomas & Mack. You can see all the dogs starting at 11:15 am. The show starts at 11:45.
If you are a dog lover, this is soooo fun.
There is a cost: $5. But that’s as close to free as you can get.
Have a great week-end Las Vegas!
