The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo crowns its champs tomorrow. But there is plenty going on if you’re not into livestock.
Las Vegas has world-class entertainment. But lots of it is pretty pricey. Adele announced her ticket prices this week. The top seats in Row G cost $4500 a piece. Yep, you read that right. The cheapest seat is $316. But they are all sold out, so you will have to pay a scalper more!
It’s my job, loyal readers, to find you FREE things to do in Las Vegas this week-end. Buckle up ’cause here we go!
Savor a FREE Journey Concert (West)
Las Vegas opens its arms to Journey. The real deal perform at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas tonight and tomorrow night. These tickets are not FREE. (The cheapest seat is $205 and up close and personal is $1584. Yep, you read that right.
However, Las Vegas has faithfully supported local tribute bands because that’s the way we want it.
Saturday night you can enjoy their famous hits, performed by Journey LTD-Living the Dream. They play at Arizona Charlie’s Decatur in the Naughty Ladies Saloon.
This show is FREE. Starts at 8 pm. Must be 21 and older.
FREE is my way. Oh, that’s a Frank Sinatra song written by Paul Anka, who I met in the elevator of the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto. But I digress.
P.S. If you’ve looking for something to do tonight, The Thre Eagles are performing at the Palace Grand Lounge at Arizona Charlies Boulder Highway. The trio’s tribute is acoustic. Those sounds should give you a peaceful, easy feeling.

Enjoy FREE Music at Cowboy Christmas (Strip)
Cowboy Christmas at the Las Vegas Convention Center is all about shopping. Yes, admission is FREE.
But there are 350 pocketbook-tempting exhibitors. Custom-made jewelry. Original art. Leather goods. Western wear. Gorgeous…but not FREE.
What is FREE is the entertainment at the Ariat Rodeo Live Stage. The Cowboy Channel NFR Tailgate Party gets everyone riled up before each Wrangler NFR performance. Two hours of foot-stomping country tunes.
The NFR cowboys also have daily autograph sessions. These are also FREE.
Today and tomorrow from 9 am-4 pm.
Laugh your *&$# off with Flint (Strip)
I had season tickets to the Professional Bull Riders for 12 years before they moved to T-Mobile Arena. I love bull riding. But it was Flint Rasmussen I really went to see.
The rodeo cowboy is one of the funniest men on the planet. I often wished I had worn adult diapers I laughed so hard. His repartee is instant.
At 11:15 am daily he hosts a show called “Outside the Barrel” at Cowboy Christmas. This is THE best comedy show in Las Vegas because Rasmussen is so funny.
