I am a New Years junkie. That’s why I celebrate three of them here in Las Vegas:
- Calendar (December 31)
- Jewish (September)
- Chinese (February)
And tomorrow the two-week Chinese New Year celebration begins. The Las Vegas Chinese community kicks off the celebration with a FREE parade through downtown. The parade starts at 11 am and will last two hours.
The red (for good luck) floats will travel down Fourth Street from Coolidge to Carson Avenues. Expect to see lots of goats because 2015 is the year of the goat. So you can say this parade will float your goat!
Happy Chinese New Year, Las Vegas!
