My favorite American cuisine is Cajun. Jambalaya, fried catfish, crawfish etouffee, cajun shrimp and seafood gumbo here I come! (And people born in the bayou have a great accent, too!)

Fortunately for us Las Vegans, the second annual Las Vegas Crawfish Festival arrives June 7-8 at the Sport Center. Eat, drink and dance your blues away!

If you want a taste of the Creole culture, there will be:

• Live cooking demonstrations (yum)
• A crawfish eating contest
• Crawfish races (mud bugs can walk??)
• Cajun, Zydeco and blues bands with a Zydeco dance contest
• Arts and crafts vendors
• A barbecue cook off

Tickets cost $10 now and $12 at the door.
