When Floyd Mayweather Junior fought Manny Pacquiao, scalpers were offering ring-side tickets for $60,000. Boxing, of course, is a big deal here in Las Vegas.
Saturday we have another big one: Miguel Cotto versus Canelo Alvarez. The fight is here in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. Show up with cash and the odds are good you can scalp a ticket.
But want to watch the fight FREE? Then head to either of the two Miller’s Ale Houses in Las Vegas on the Boulevard or in Henderson on Stephanie near Sunset Station. There are dozens of TVs. Drink specials for the fight include $8 pitchers of Bud and Bud Light and $10 pitchers of margaritas.
Or sample the surprisingly elegant and amazingly delicious food for a sports bar. In my opinion, Miller’s whole lobster is one million times better than Red Lobster’s for almost half the price. Enjoy the crustacean with a baked potato, veggie and salad for $17! That’s a meal worth fighting over.
See you at Miller’s Las Vegas for fight night.
