Yee haw, Las Vegas country music fans. Tickets for the Route 91 Harvest Country Festival, which arrives in Las Vegas September 30-October 2, are on sale now. $215 for a three-day pass! Of course, you get to hear superstars like Kenny Chesney, Dierks Bentley and Carrie Underwood. You can kinda justify the price because a lot of the money goes to the ACM’s charity.
What would it have been like to see Kenny, Dierks or Carrie before they became famous? You actually have a chance to do that this week-end. Sierra Black, Las Vegas’s home-grown rising country star, is performing two free concerts this week at Chrome showroom at Sante Fe Station.
Black, who lives in Summerlin, played her first show at the CasaBlanca resort in Mesquite when she was just 15. The last time you saw her was at the South Point during National Finals Rodeo.
Country singer Sierra Black
Doors open at 8. The music starts at 9.
Black will also be singing at Chrome February 5, 19 and 20.
P.S. Black does have history with the Route 91 festival. Last year Keith Urban selected her to sing a duet with him.
