Happy New Year, everyone! 2015 just has to be great because Las Vegas is back!
New Year’s Eve celebrations can be spendy. So here’s a fun FREE option for the whole family.
When I was a single mother back in the Dark Ages, finding (and paying for) a babysitter on New Year’s Eve was next to impossible. Fortunately, tonight the Downtown Project has solved that problem for you. The Downtown Container Park is hosting a FREE kid-friendly New Year’s Eve bash.
Festivities start at 4 pm with a sparking cider toast at 9. (Hey, it’s New Year’s in New York!) There will be:
- A DJ
- Kid’s games
- Face painting
- Party favors for everyone
- Balloons
Even better, kids eat FREE at The Perch. So you don’t have to worry about feeding the rug rats!
Downtown Container Park
The kid’s party ends at 9. Then the adults take over. The Fab performs FREE from 9:30-1 am. And of course, you’re in a prime spot to see the famous Grucci fireworks at the stroke of midnight.
Even better, the city of Las Vegas is NOT closing down any of the streets downtown. So you don’t have to wait until 3:30 am for Las Vegas Boulevard and the Strip to open for cars.
