Las Vegas is one of the entertainment capitals of the world. However, many of the headliners and shows are very expensive. This blog is dedicated to finding you, my loyal readers, kewl things to do in Las Vegas this week-end for FREE.

This is NASCAR week-end in Las Vegas. However, even though the tickets start at just $8, the races are not FREE.
I posit some great music is the ticket after the frenzied week of national politics right here in River City AKA Las Vegas. President Trump held a rally and the Democrats debated before the Saturday caucus. Time to listen to more soothing sounds.
Here are some suggestions.
Bret Michaels at Fremont Street Experience

Poison tickets are typically spendy. But Saturday night you can enjoy the musical magic of lead singer Brett Michaels live. He performs live at 7 pm on the 3rd Street Stage at the Fremont Street Experience.
He’s part of the NASCAR celebration. But who doesn’t want to hear “Nothing But a Good Time” or “Talk Dirty to Me“?
I did say the show is FREE. And it will happen even if it rains.
A FREE Brett Michaels concert is one of the many reasons I love living in Las Vegas. This is the exception, not the rule!
All Request Live at Club Madrid

All Request Live is a cover band. The audience requests the songs they play via text or tweet. This format makes each show unique because the music changes in real time.
Audience participation makes you feel like you are part of the show. Especially since the band typically gives a shout out or dedication after they play your song.
All Request Live specializes in classic rock music, you can request anything. I don’t know if they know show tunes, but they insist they can play music from any era.
The show starts at 10 pm at Club Madrid inside Sunset Station. Doors open at 9 in case you have a table you like.
I did say this show was FREE. It’s a cover band with no cover!
Oh, you must be 21 to attend because there will be alcoholic beverages available … which aren’t FREE.
P.S. They will take requests written on napkins, the Rat Pack way.
Latin Breeze at Revello Lounge

If Latin music is the toe-tapping, hip-shaking beat you need tonight, head to the M Resort Spa Casino to hear Latin Breeze.
Latin Breeze is a 12-piece dance band that plays music you can dance to. That includes salsa, merengue, cumbia and top 40.
The show is in the Ravello Lounge, which has a pretty sizable wood dance floor. Often you can watch Dancing With the Stars-quality dancing from locals who don’t have gringo hips like me!
Doors open at 7 and the show starts at 8. It is FREE.
Once again, you must be 21 to attend.
Have a great week-end Las Vegas!
